We loved our stay for our daughter’s graduation from WSU. The hotel was funky & artsy, there are cafes & restaurants right nearby, and the outdoor patios were wonderful! We enjoyed sunny cocktail hours every evening. The staff were so kind & helpful. We will definitely stay at the McCoy again!
Mid century vibe, when motels lined strips in cities across the US. It is so cute, comfortable, safe, & just lovely. Loved the moon deck where you can rest in front of a fire pit & use the telescope to gaze at the stars. Oatmeal bar for breakfast was pretty neat & different breakfast option. Great stay & will be my go to when visiting my family in Pullman.

Glad you asked! Designed in 1959 and built in 1960, it was originally called the Manor Lodge Motel. In 1967 Walter L. Slocum, a sociology professor at nearby Washington State University, purchased it and an adjoining service station shortly thereafter. Rumor has it that there
was once a pool onsite and the motel’s sign out front said “Rest! Relax! Refresh!”.
